"I wish they'd had this when I was a kid"I can't tell you how many times I have heard this. In fact I've said it several times myself. The cool thing is, you can do it now and it's just as much fun to help make it all happen as it is to be on the team. We need help on race day with, food, bottle handups, course marshalling, equipment, transportation. We also need a ton of help running the weekly practices.
Me? I do a lot of these things but most of all I love to ride with the team. It's truly a great group of people to hang with - the culture is supportive and positive. Many volunteers start riding with the team because their kid is doing it, but then continue for years after because they're having so much fun. Interested? Read on! |
Helping with Practices
For practices, we need ride leaders and ride support. For more info, check out our Ride Support page.
Helping at Races
We need a small army of help on race day. If you're a parent/guardian of a racer and you're attending the race day, we expect you to help in some way (preferably a way that appeals to you) at most races. Check out our Race Support page for details on how to be involved.
